The Right to Protest; Palestine, Islamophobia and Civil Liberties

April 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm BST

Public meeting hosted by Greater Manchester Stop the War Coalition and Friends of Al Aqsa

Rather than condemning the genocide in Gaza, the UK government has attempted to demonise and criminalise the Palestine movement with a sustained attack on our civil liberties. They are fanning the flames of Islamophobia and sowing the seeds of division in an attempt to distract from their complicity in the war crimes perpetrated by the Israeli state.

Join us to discuss the situation in Gaza and the Middle East, and how we can defend the right to protest and unite against islamophobia.

Speakers:

John Rees Stop the War Coalition National Officer

Ismail Patel Friends of Al Aqsa National Chair

Fran Heathcote PCS Union General Secretary

The tickets are free but if you can, please make a donation to help with the costs of the room hire etc. – many thanks
