Your favourite audio open mic night is back back back for 2024!
On Tuesday 5th March we’ll be at New River Studios for the live recording of our next show: MEMORY.
There will be:
- Pizza
- Drinks
- MERCH
- Live Performances
- Lovely People
- Lots of audio old and new, long and short, funny and melancholy.
What is safe + sound? It’s kind of like an open mic night for radio docs, podcasts, music + sound art. People send us audio before the show, then we host a live recording of our radio show with you, the audience. Recordings from the night will be broadcast on Resonance FM.
Submissions are open – you can send literally any kind of pre-recorded audio as long as it’s 7 minutes or under. It can be a piece of music / an interview / an excerpt from a show / a bit of sound art. It can be a piece you made before, or something new you make specifically for us. You can be a seasoned radio maker, or this could be the first piece you’ve ever made.
