Open to people of all levels, especially beginners to voguing/dancing.

What to expect: Voguing foundation (Classic Performance), Ballroom history & culture, intuitive movement, Q&A/discussions, obscure food analogies.

Voguing is a dance-based art form that is just one part of Ballroom – a culture that grew from the Black and Latinx LGBTQ+ communities in prisons and the Harlem drag ball scene.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve not danced before or never heard of Voguing. This is a relaxed space for people of all abilities & backgrounds to discover Ballroom, discover themselves and most importantly to have fun! 🎈

CW: I talk very frankly about things that can be triggering to some eg. discrimination, gender, sexuality, mental illness, addiction etc. Please bear this in mind when booking 🌱

Tickets available online only – you will need the instructions on the confirmation email to access the studio.

Please note tickets are non-refundable.

Timings:

• 6-6:30 – Intro, Ballroom history & culture
• 6:30-6:45 – Warm Up
• 6:45-7:45 – Posing, Levels, Travelling & Focus (will change each week)
• 7:45-8 – Stretch down, Meditation

Please wear clothes/shoes you can move freely and comfortably in, and bring water if possible.

You will receive access instructions to the venue upon booking.
