Axe throwing fun for the LGBTQIA+ Community

April 25 @ 6:45 pm - 9:00 pm BST

Come join us for a fun and inclusive event at Boom Battle Bar Chelmsford.

This is the perfect opportunity to show off your skills or try something new whilst having fun and connecting with fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

During the first hour we will be throwing axes in 2 lanes next to each other and during the next hour we will be getting to know each other.

Our friendly Always Proud team of volunteers will be there to chat with you and provide more information on upcoming events.

Food and drink is available to purchase on the site (non-alcoholic options available).

Please arrive 15 min before the event to allow time for registration and explaining the rules.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: No alcohol before or during AXE throwing. You need to wear closed toe shoes and no heels/sandals. If you have long hair you need to tie it back.

*Wheelchair accessible : For more information: https://boombattlebar.com/uk/watford/battleground/axe-throwing/

Let’s make this event a memorable one and come together to celebrate our community!

***THIS EVENT IS FULLY FUNDED BY ESSEX PRIDE***

You can ‘pay what you can’ to ensure money isn’t a barrier for anyone wanting to attend. Your contribution will go towards funding more events like this in the future. PLEASE be mindful when you book, especially if you can’t attend, as we are investing our limited funds to create a fun and accessible event for as many people as possible.

Always Proud is an outreach project by Essex Pride to create events & safe spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community throughout the year in Chelmsford.

*The intention for these events is to celebrate queer joy, strengthen our sense of community, to create uplifting and joyful experiences, make connections and for people to enjoy themselves.

* Please note that we want to create a safe space for people so transphobia, biphobia, misogyny, racism and ableism won’t be tolerated.

*Photos and videos will be taken throughout the events, if attendees do not want to be in photos or videos please let Chloe (Always Proud team) know.

**If you have any questions or comments please get in touch at sofia.rojas@essexpride.org
