🧗‍♀ESEA/POC Climb for Migrants’ Rights
November 2 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm GMT
Are you an ESEA (East and Southeast Asian) or POC (People of Colour) climber, or interested in trying bouldering? 🤝 Join us for a beginner-friendly indoor session to connect through fun activities and raise funds for immigrants held in UK detention centres. Two experienced, queer ESEA climbers, both trained as Climbing Wall Instructors (CWI), will support you to ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive experience for all levels. This event is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly.
Who is welcome?
ESEA/POC climbers of all levels are warmly invited, from first-timers to seasoned climbers. Climbers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Fundraising Purpose
This event aims to raise funds for Solidarity Detainee Support (SDS), an abolitionist collective working against immigration detention and incarceration. SDS focuses on breaking the isolation of detainees and building long-term relationships, emphasising solidarity over charity.
