Join the incredible Sallyanne Rock for this relaxed workshop where we’ll look at how poetry helps us to commune with our bodies, sex, desire and sensuality. We’ll discover how other poets have done it, and explore some poetic techniques that will help you to create your own eff-able poems!
Show up and engage in the ways that fit you best – video on or off, active contributor or background observer.

About the project

About the facilitator
Sallyanne Rock is a queer, neurodivergent poet from the Black Country. She also is an
access support worker for artists, a sometime copywriter, and solo parent of two teenagers.
Working alongside literary organisations such as Writing West Midlands, Verve Poetry
Festival, Creative Future and various community groups, Sallyanne supports funding
applications and delivery of creative projects, facilitates workshops and mentors other poets.
She is the recipient of the Creative Future Writers’ Awards gold prize for poetry, and her
debut pamphlet, ‘Salt & Metal’, is published with Fawn Press.
