The Marmite of Drag
July 31 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm BST
Love us or hate us, you won’t forget us!
The Marmite of Drag is back back back again to bring the artform of cabaret back to its counter-cultural roots, showcasing the absolute best of boundary-breaking, binary-smashing, system-offending entertainment! Expect lipsync, live vocals, comedy, spoken word, and maybe even a TEDTalk about fisting…
Hosted by East London’s favourite gender-fluid dumpster fire, and lover of all things kinky and transgressive, Powdered Sugar, we’re excited to bring our marmite-y excellence for the first time to Battersea Arts Centre!
This show’s special guests include:
- Miss Burlesque UK, co-founder of The Bitten Peach and Headmistress of Soho School of Burlesque Evelyn Carnate
- Drag’s answer to Stuart Lee and producer of 101 Damn Asians Mild Peril
- The Political Princess of London and Bar Wotever resident artist Shakona Fire
