Emma Slade Edmondson and Nicole Ocran are the creators and co-hosts of the award-winning Mixed Up podcast, have discussed race and identity through the mixed-race lens over five seasons. They have interviewed notable figures such as Mel B, Afua Hirsch, Ben Bailey Smith, Big Zuu, Emma Dabiri, Jassa Ahluwalia, Jordan Stephens, Kit de Waal, and Travis Alabanza.

Emma Slade Edmondson is a sustainability consultant, writer, podcaster, TEDx speaker and presenter. A change maker and leader in the sustainable fashion and retail space for over 10 years – she founded ESE Consultancy, a creative strategic marketing agency working to elevate brands, initiatives and organizations that are committed to a more sustainable future.
 
Nicole Ocran is an American writer, journalist and fashion influencer who has been sharing her personal style and life online for over a decade. She’s the co-founder of The Creator Union, a union campaigning for fair pay for digital creatives and influencers. She currently lives in London.
