‘To kid, or not to kid, is that the question?’ Aalex, a 30-something London-based comedian, feels young but is factually getting older, so she did the crazy scientific thing women in this day and age can do now, egg freezing. Join her for very honest tales of the whys, hows and now whats, with dramatic twists of what went wrong thrown in. Be prepared to cross your legs and attempt to protect your ovaries, whether you have them or not. This 45-minute work-in-progress show is a mixture of stand-up and storytelling. Expect science, tangents and advice nobody should take.

Aalex is a high-energy, observational comedian with an uplifting edge. She has performed all over the UK and in Melbourne, Australia, With successful solo runs at Edinburgh Fringe 22&23, Vault Festival and Riverside Studios telling wildly honest tales of living on her own in lockdown, Aalex now resides in London spreading the gospel of silliness and the importance of Lotus Spread. She is also part of 2023 & 2024’s esteemed Soho Theatre Labs.
