History 101 (Online)

July 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm BST

This is a monthly primer on homelessness history, reaching right back to the 1300s! Join co-director Matt as he gives an incomplete overview of the history of homelessness covering the major currents and tides of history up to the present day. We’ll explore how some of the stigmas and stereotypes around homelessness came into being and will meet a cast of mavericks, wayfarers, and rebels who have tried to change the system along the way.
